    In Long Kesh Prison, County Down, Northern Ireland in 1977 as a result of the Special Category Status being rescinded by the Thatcher Government designated that internees classified as Political Prisoners would now be reclassified as common criminals.  This legislation sparked discontent and protest throughout the prison.  Prisoners Kelly, Doyle and Lynch struggle to deal with this new Political directive with dramatic results for all.
